First post here. Doing some tests with Layout. Thanks for the tip about setting the model res at 72! That speeded things up a lot. And I'm about to set line weight to .25. It is clunky compared with other high buck software, but usable. At 300 dpi the pdf for five pages was 31 mb. Still doable if you print a big set in small groups. Has anyone tried to produce a set of working drawings with Layout? Or is this in the future?

Edit: Actually can't find how to set lines to .25. .5 seems to be the lowest. Any ideas?

      Bob, Welcome
Try reducing in .25 increments (SU model) Line Wts, untill you are somewhat satisfied.
      EX; 1.0......then 0.75..........then 0.50
I find there are no hard and fast rules here, because of paper size...scale...etc.

Shape Style tab has a line wt setting as well.
      EDIT:
      Wooops...Almost forgot,
You will need to "trick" LO to get the line Shape Style to accept a decimal.
      As Follows...Draw shape......Select Shape.....Select 0.5 from the dropdown....triple click to the right of the decimal....enter desired #

      Best,

      Charlie
