      Hi Guys,

      1. Just wondering if it is possible to add colour to lines when you bring the in as a DWG file. As they are on different layers it would be handy to see them in different colours as the lines themselves.

2 Also is it possible to extrude multiply closed splines (lines) in one go. Maybe a plugin or manually.

      Many thanks in advance.

If you go to the styles editor, go to edge styles... at the bottom there is a drop down list that you can change to color "by material".

          Hi J. Forrester, hi folks.

For your second question, see attached SU file for ideas.

Of course, in the two examples, you can ungroup the lines when the job is completed.

Thanks for the replys, as for the second request I was trying to extrude multiple polygons in one go instead of having to extrude to a specific height then have to double click the next polygon to extrude to the same height.

Basically I wanted to be able to pick say 1o different polygons and extrude them all in one go.

            Thanks again.

Sounds similar to what I had requested in this post http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=79&t=4606

A partial solution would be to explode the polygons (components) and extrude (move command, actually) them.

Sorry to only offer a partial solution!
