Learning centre not responding....

Just downloaded sketchup and it will not run.....dialogue open for learning centre but the dialogue is blank and I get a not responding message after some time.
I am running Vista...is this the problem? -

I run XP so I don't have special experiences about Vista.

I'm running SU6 on Vista Ultimate with an nVidia card without problems.
