    Is there a difference between scaling and stretching? For intance, if I bring in a door or window and scale it to the size I want the frame or mullions change as well. Another words I would like to keep the frame 2" thick while increasing the height of the door by 3-5/16" but when I scale it the frame increases in size propotionaly as well.

      Yes there is a difference. You will have to edit the component, select the one side of the frame and move/stretch it to the desired width. Same with the height.

        Hi Perk,
        There is a very easy way to modify the dimmensions of a component or group without distorting it's parts. I went into this in answer to another question and posted some pictures by way of explanation. You can find it here:
