Cant shape a curved ground

hello
my name is Vartan and I recently installed sketchup.
I was trying to build a surfboard (probably funny thing to design) and I had to get a certain form which I couldn't achieved.
After designing the "half-curved" plate
I couldn't shape it .
I'm just probably don't know how to use the program.
please help me out .
I've uploaded the unshaped curve that I now need to shape , please explain me how to shape it .

I didn't wanted an arch there ,because I need another curve but now I understand the technique and and will practise it a Little bit

Varty,
A tutorial is not made to solve your problem (I did not even think of where exactly I need to put that arch) but rather to allow you to understand a way of modelling or the use of specific tools or a certain technique/workflow.
Well, you undertood it well and I hope starting from here you can master your skateboard (or anything else) with this. -

because of my bad English I believe that I was misunderstood .
the thing is that this technique was unable to solve my problem because an arch is an optional push/pool , and after creating a shape on this curve that is also curved(not arched) I can't push/pool it and can't use this specific technique.
but thank you very much for the tutorial I'm close to do what I need , and like you said you gave me a tool/skill that I must develop...

I've done the same thing just created a shape of the cuve plate and then the shape of the board .
the curved plate I push/poll to the width
and the shape I push/poll to height
then put them one on the other and intersected them and it came out with the curves , basicly the way you tutored me .P: VARTY

Now, that's cool, Varty! I'm glad that you succeeded.
As you can see, there are always some tricks when you get stumped at some (seemingly impossible) point.
When you already have some experience, patience and imagination, you can always overcome these problems.
