      I've got a finished model of some buildings sitting on the GE 2D terrain. How do I delete the terrain, and keep the models the same, so that they are just sitting on colored plane?

      Thanks.

        Wait a minute, man,

        IFyou are importing GE snapshot & terrain, you have a 2D snapshot (meant to allow you to trace object there - if the resolution i9s high enough) AND a z-axis elevation of the snapshot that is called "GE Terrain" (have a look into your layers).

        If you really want to have a georeferenced model, why on earth would you like to delete it?
        Yet if you did really like to delete it, unlock the GE Terrain, select it and then just delete. You may also want to delete the layer assigned to it afterwards (since it wouléd then be emty anyways).

        Hm... It just does not make snese to me - but please, explaine if there is a good reason; I'd really like to know it!

        Cheers;

        Gai...
