Modeling back of screen question
-
I'm modeling or attempting to, the new iMac. I'm having a bit of trouble with the back of the screen. Attached is an image of where i'm at and the red lines show how it needs to be flatter across where the stand arm connects. i'm just not sure how to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the new design.

Hi Cheffey,
Without exact dimensions and - honestly just "guessing" from the images you attached and referred to . here's something.
I think it's quite "flexible" so you can just dimension and move parts in it - the autofold should do the rest.
Note that I have both softened and hidden lines in the model so you can play with them.

try this and see if this is what you want -
ahhh, thanks guys.
that should do the trick. i was doing a push-pull copy and then scaling the end.
this should be much more smooth & accurate.
I'll put this up as a component soon as i finish.
