Expanding the camera's view

I was curious if anyone knew a good way to expand the peripheral view of the camera? I attempted to stitch together some exported JPEGs once and it didn't work out so well. Any other advice is welcome! (Even if it becomes a bit distorted like a fish-eye lens or something)

switch to your zoom tool and change the field of view in your vcb box

Also, while using the zoom tool, hold down shift, use your left mouse button and move it around. This will change your field of view interactively.
