Adding Interactive SketchUp Models to PowerPoint Presentions
-
Hi. If you have ever wanted to add your interactive 3D SketchUp
models directly to your PowerPoint presentations, there is now a way
to do it (and it's free).First, you'll need to download and install Hypercosm Teleporter - a
free exporting tool that exports SkechUp scenes to "3D Hypercosm
applets":
http://www.hypercosm.com/download/telep ... index.htmlOnce you've exported your model to a Hypercosm applet, you can link it
directly into your presentation following directions listed here:
http://www.hypercosm.com/support/docume ... index.htmlAs soon as you run your presentation and open up a slide with a
Hypercosm applet embedded, the 3D applet will load and run just as if
it were a video file or an animated GIF.Enjoy,
-abe.

Abe - What a great idea!
I'm having some trouble getting it working and I wanted to correct the typos in your links.
I'm using power point 2000 (I'll see if I get better results with a newer version of power point). After inserting object-->hypercosm applet onto a slide, when I right click, I do not get the properties option (hypercosm applet-->convert is available)
I had to install the player in addition to the teleporter

Seems this one doesn't work for us cheapskate Google SU folks due to lack of the proper 3D exporter.
