Vray has a special way to manage its toolbar. It might be that version 6 has changed something.

Can you pop the main menu of LOTT (click on the first button of the LOTT Vignette Stripe and uncheck the Vray option.

The popup menu showed "Include Vray" and the VRay menu options do not work.
Then I clicked on the Include Vray option and restarted SketchUp and now it shows "Exclude Vray".
But Vray menu options still do not start.

The only way I get Vray menu options to work is when I deinstall LOTT.

The menu should show 'Include VRay', so that you do not have LOTT manage the VRay commands.

Could you open the Ruby console, and copy/paste the following command and press Enter:

          Sketchup.read_default('LordOfTheToolbars', 'VRayEnabled')

It should answer true or false.

The menu says now Include VRay.
            the command: Sketchup.read_default('LordOfTheToolbars', 'VRayEnabled')
            => false
and Vray menu options do not execute.

In the Extensions menu, could you tell me what is the menu entry for VRay? Is it 'V-Ray' or something else?

Has there been any movement on this topic? I am also seeing this issue. I would rather not have to uninstall LOTT. Thanks.

Fredo just released version 2.9a, which works with Vray 7.
                    Thanks Fredo!

However I cannot add a VRay toolbar command to a LOTT Palette anymore, because the Vray commands do not show in the master toolbar screen.

Precisely. VRay prevents that their commands are launched from anywhere else than their native toolbars and menus.

Note that the problem with VRay is not just for LOTT, but also for Curic Pie menu and other plugins dealing with custom toolbars.

That is a pitty, I was happy with only having LOTT for toolbars.

Therefor the menu option in the LOTT popup menu called “Exclude VRay” or “Include VRay” has no function anymore?
                        (could be disabled or removed)
