Transmutr does not recognise 3D files

Hello there
I have 2 issues and please bear with me as I am not very tech savvy.
1.
I want to download TRANSMUTR into my Sketchup extensions. I have the Sketchucation Extention Store on SU and found Transmutr and installed it. I got a confirmation that it has been installed. While the icon of Transmutr appeared, when I click on it get the following message:

I downloaded Transmutr from their website for a 7-day free tiral. While it appears to be working, thus can open the plugin , when I want to drop any FBX or OBJ files into it, it will not recognise them in my folders, neither can I dropp them.Can you help, please?
