FredoCorner Issues

I seem to be having some trouble with FredoCorner, where its creating random edges / geometry. Not sure if its something with my model/setup, or the plugin itself.
Example of me trying to use a FredoCorner Bevel on this edge unsuccessfully
Strangely enough, RoundCorner bevel seems to work just fine
I am using Sketchup Pro 2021

@Paaavlova It would seem you found a solution by using Roundcorner.
But I can't see where, on your first image, you are targeting the bevel to happen.
