I adore some mid century modern lamps and this is one of them.
I modelled this Fratelli Mannelli modernist table lamp in Sketchup and Rendered in TM. Must do More products. so much easier than full scenes.

        Oh very cool! πŸ‘

Good idea on product and object modeling and renders. I was thinking along the same lines.

But I'll most likely end up doing another spaceship. πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

This one is an early Halogen lamp by Joan Cambra.

Thanks Mark, those details took ages to do, but it pain off in the end πŸ‘ I like to do that to all or most of my work where it uses brick or stone materials. If any budding Ruby writers are out there would make a cool plugin, especially if you could dial in the spacing you could use a slider for size and pitch of the "nicks" to correspond to say the coursing of brick materials for instance πŸ˜‰ Just a thought bubble

Great models, renders and a cool idea for a plugin. πŸ‘
