Upscaling design

Hi guys
Ive been upsclaing my designs
by 10x or 100x to get better detail and then scaling back down to normal so i can print the project
Why do we have to do this…. Why can’t the software understand 1mm to 1m?
Can’t SketchUp Upgrade the program to real world,?
I use other cad programs and have no problem with this issue -
in LO - your view port can have the scale set to fit it on your paper size etc. in SU, you can set the scaling factors in the print dialog where you set the extent parameters.

What i mean is, I drew a circle with 24 sides, i want to change it to 200, and it says its too small
If i upscale the drawing it works
