      Hello.

Is there a way to link shadow settings to Styles? I've been using Sketchup for years, but I can't figure out how to do this.

      Thanks.

No. Shadows are separate from Styles.

Not sure but there might be a way to come up with a Ruby script that would allow you to select a style from a list and turn on Shadows at the same time. I don't know what is available in the Ruby API relative to Styles.

Well, that's another infuriating thing I can add to the list. Thanks for your info!

I'm curious how that would be used.

I suppose you could create a scene that has Shadows turned on and maybe no other properties saved. Have that as part of your template.

It would just be nice to have a one-click solution.

I always find I'm adjusting shadows anyway for time, date, etc. I can't imagine how having shadows turned on with the style would really save me any time.
