Texture orientation

Hi, I have a problem with the application of the texture, it does'n respect my setting.
I want to apply a texture to a curve object, so usually i apply it to the first polygon of the curve, so i set there the texture (size and orientation) and then i can go on with the color sampler tool but now when i continue to the oters segments the texture risults inverted. I have to set the texture for every segment and this is crazy. If i set the second segment texture, when i apply it to the third segment it risults again inverted.
What is the problem?
