3D models requests website/forum?
-
Hi everyone,
Not sure if this is the best place to ask (please move the thread if it isn't), but I'd like to know if there's a forum or website similar to Fivver focused in 3-D modeling. Or if there isn't a specific website, a place that has a section fully dedicated to 3-D modeling requests.
I'm just a hobbyist, but once in a while I'm asked to design a room and I need to make some specific objects, for example a sofa, a massage chair, or something of that kind, and I wouldn't mind paying a few bucks to someone for that task. My hand dexterity is very low (health problems), and I can model a cabinet or something similar relatively easy, but organic modeling, with lots of curves, is much harder for me.
I'm not a professional, so I wouldn't expect perfection, and I actually never used Fivver or anything similar so I'm not really sure how it works, but as I wrote above it'd be very nice if I could give this type of work on someone that probably would do this type of thing 10x faster than me.
Thanks in advance for all comments and suggestions.

Try the free PconPlanner !
There is a huge free included "Catalog" of everything!
Load your object(s) from the "catalog" on the free space screen by Drag & Drop then export as SKP format!
Here the guy rebuild from zero the project, but you can just import the furnitures
then export them inside SketchUp as skp format!Have happy decorate!

Thanks pilou. I didn't know that software, I'll try it, it seems quite interesting.
But I'd still love to know if there's any website similar to what I described. Sometimes friends ask me to redecorate their houses/rooms, and they ask me to model specific objects.
Or maybe most (all?) 3-D designers model all their 3-D models from scratch when they want or need something specific?

Thanks rv1974. I registered yesterday after seeing your post, and I'm trying to learn how to use the website, but are you sure it has a 3D requests section? I can see tons of 3D models, but as far as I can understand they're in 3Dmax format, not sure how I'd be able to use them with Sketchup.

3dsky is a copy of Russian speaking site 3ddd.ru. You could post your requests on dedicated sub-forum (the last one) after registration. Post in English optionally add google translated variant. But there's a good chance the model you're searching already exists.
PS Why don't you try firerr though? -

PS Why don't you try firerr though? Thanks again rv1974. I didn't try fivver, I never used that website but last week I browsed trying to find a section dedicated to 3-D, and didn't find any. But after reading your post I tried again, and didn't find a specific section but found several persons offering 3-D modeling services. I'll check some of these.
Thanks again. I've been using Sketchup for years, but as you can see I'm completely out of the loop about what's possible nowadays.
