Can I do a Sun study with sketchup (Now)?

Hi, have been away from sketchup for a while have been building a reef tank and not enough time for both hobbies but seem to be on top of the tank now so will crank up Sketchup again.
I used to do a sun studies many moons ago when Sketchup was a google product, but am not sure how to do it with Trimble at the wheel. Could somebody pleas let me know if it can still be acheived?Thank you
