Animator plugins
-
I've got three animation plugins; Sketchy Physics, MSPhysics and Fredo6 Animator.
Is the latter meant to replace the first two, or does each have its own advantages?
I'm using Make 2017. -
Ms Physics can be the replacement of the old SketchyPhysics!
Animator is completly different, you don't code with it so more easy!A complete teaching (26 steps)

Physics-based engine takes constraint and simulate the result of a movement, considering these constraints (joints, gravity, etc...).
In Animation plugins (like Animator), you really specify each movement of objects and cameras. So it's not a simulation. Indeed, you have more control on the result, since it is always exactly what you designed.
Both have their learning curve and need practice.
