Attaching a Component to a dynamic component

Hi Good People. I am trying to attach a door that I designed to a dynamic hinge that I downloaded so that when the hinge moves the door moves with it. Problem is I do not seem to be able to do this. Any ideas or advice would be gratefully appreciated. Many thanks. Chris

Your profile indicates you are using SketchUp Make. In order to create or modify Dynamic Components you need to have SketchUp Pro.

Ah - that's a bummer - I had hoped that I could connect to a dynamic component and benefit from its properties - can't afford a Pro License for what I do and what I earn. Will just have to find a route around this obstacle. Thanks for your help. Kind regards

If you are using SketchUp for your business, no matter what you earn, you need to be using SketchUp Pro or SketchUp Shop. The free versions aren't licensed for commercial use.
