Legal use of sketchup web version in blogs and youtube
-
Hi,
I am wondering if I can demonstrate the use of SketchUp web version and publish it in a blog or youtube? Would it be legal?
If I can, what are the things I should not do while making a tutorial online using the web version?
Eventually, I will be using a pro version after 6 months or so when I have the budget.
I am wanting to teach it online for beginners now so maybe this is a good option without any legal issues.
I read the terms and I can't understand the technical terms clearly. Help please...
Thanks,

For a definitive answer you need to consult legal counsel. One thing is clear, if you are using SketchUp in any commercial way, you need to be using SketchUp Pro or SketchUp Shop. If you are charging people to see your tutorials, you can't legally do it with SketchUp Free or SketchUp Make.
