      A true labour of love, just gets better the more you watch. πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘

        Wow, can't imagine the amount of research that went into this! Makes my efforts seem so insignificant.

        I'm not sure I understand what appears to be an ice sculpture at 21:45. But then I understand very little about pretty much anything nowadays πŸ˜•

          Thanks boys...

          @John
          Yeah! you are right, when it comes to the 45th or 46th time you work on almost the same stuff, if you don't get better
          at it, it is hopeless πŸ˜‰
          and yes too for a labor of love cause I owe a lot to Ledoux in my career, volumetric inspiration, and everyday life, in my home.

          @hellnbak
          You know, the more you search the more you find!
          Ice no, but not that bad for a cranky fart πŸ˜„ , the render is done through materials tuned to glass and even, sometimes, diamond but I will try ice next time!
          Thats parts of my work on translucence:

          Thanks again to both of you for watching.

                  Just an insane amount of work, beautifully realized. (Reminds me of the Viking '75 Mars Lander reconstruction project of TDahl in terms of depth, commitment and ambition)

                  Have you attempted to create a master model to replicate the map seen at 1:23, or is the model weight just too great to manage? It would be really interesting to see all of the structures in context in a fly-over (or around) animation.

                  Congratulations on seeing it all the way to the end and brilliantly so!

                    Thanks Doug,

                    An other good idea to make me play a little bit more on that game!
                    Model weight is not really a problem, I have been using SketchUp for long enough now to know how to compose with that and use a few tricks and work around πŸ˜‰
                    Only problem is that it's not gonna be done tomorrow as I have a lot to do outside on my land at the time, many trees growing too fast and some pruning to do!

                    Thanks again for watching and comments,

                    Regards.

                    Ps: the other good idea came out after hellnback comment and as already gave birth to a new project that will be soon on my Behance pages called the "Icytectures". Will let you know about.
