I am not even sure of the words to use to explain what I am looking for. Sorry - I know how to use animation and section cuts to show a wall being built up. How do I use these tools to show and opening appear in a wall? For instance a door or window cut out? I would like to use this to demonstrate which parts of a few walls are to be demolished. I hope that makes sense. I appreciate any help you can offer.

it's the same as for showing walls being built up, in reverse, except you make a group of the portion of wall to be removed and you place the sections in the group. Then making one active. you close the group and make a scene. Then do the same with the second section. The object appears to group slide down, disappearing, while the rest of the wall stays up. leave an interior face at the cut-- outside the group so the remaining wall looks solid. You can use hidden lines and it looks pretty good.

As pbacot has stated above....same/similar to showing walls being "built up" see example file below.

Just an update...It was a lot of trial and error but I got it to work! I feel so accomplished. 😍

I would make a note to any others trying to do this (or maybe I am the only knucklehead) that the "animation" does not show up when switching between scenes on the tray but only when switching between scenes on the tabs above the drawing window. Can't tell you how many times I would redraw and switch at the tray only to be very disappointed. However, best way to learn! Won't make that mistake again.

Anyway, thanks again for your help!!
