So now that is a file skm : what is the process for obtain the image JPG, png... ?

Rename .skm in .zip
unzip
you have the different images!

You don't need to go to that trouble to get the image. Just right click on the thumbnail in the Materials window and choose Export...

Another trick is to export 3D in .kmz
rename .zip
Unzip
you have all textures in one time in a folder (but they are renamed texture, texture_0 etc...)
