Edges and Hybrid transparency
-
I did not know this. If you choose to ues hybrid, arguably the better looking most useful setting in LO, edges seen through transparent surfaces disappear. That's not good. I guess i never needed it but now I have a model that does need the edges to show and there's no way to do that except by raster which is no good by default.

As a workaround omit the transparent surface in SU but add a transparent shape in LO. Attached example LO. Not great if you have a lot of separate transparent surfaces!

There was a bug introduced that caused this. The LO team know about it and it's in the pipeline.
In the meantime, a work around is an option. Two scenes in SU. One with textures displayed but edges off. The other, Hidden line--black on white. Stack viewports in LO with the top one set to the Hidden line scene and rendered in Vector. The textured scene below rendered in Raster.

Dave and Brian,
Thanks for the ideas and examples. I'll try them out!
