When ever I use UV mapping to apply textures to my model, when I OBJ export it (using OBJexporter 3.0) it creates hundreds of unwanted textures due to them being distorted. Is there any way I can export it with only the textures I used or delete the unwanted textures?

You need to triangulate the geometry before exporting.

Importing straight skp file (in 3ds max at least) solves this problem
