Twilight Render
-
Hi everybody :
This might be an "off-the-wall " question. Does anyone here, in the Sketchup rooms know about Twilight Render ? I have a (sort of) technical question, but the "pros" at Twilight Render always seem to be offset when someone (like me) has a hard time getting the "knack" of how to work with lighting. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks. garystan

Twilight is a piece of cake for hobbyist : there is a free version without any restriction of size and watermark!

He has Twilight render already but I agree about the Twilight forum. There is actually a good level of banter and cooperation right now and the feedback is brilliant. I think that it can take some time for a response depending on the day and what people are doing but I hope Gary goes back and gives everyone a chance. Flying architecture has some good models to download that might just fit the bill for sinking into https://flyingarchitecture.com/ .

+1 for the Twilight forum and help, in fact, I was having a major problem lighting an interior office space and the help and advice lead to the tutorial video Pilou posted above.
You can see what I managed to come up with here: https://www.dma-ni.com/dma_projects/dma_view_proj/victoria-street-belfast
I never did get my frosted glass light shades right though -
Always had good help from the Twilight crew. Their videos are good at explaining various procedures too. Lighting changed a while ago to be more realistic settings in terms of power settings.
