Thanks for your patience. I just want to make sure you gave tried version 15.4 which I uploaded last evening and which fixed a similar problem kaas had?

Yes - the newest version. Feel free to ask more questions. I'd be glad to see the plugin working. For now I stick with TIG's obj importer.

BTW it seems that a cmd window blinks for a fraction of a second and does nothing.

smicha, will it make one if the original is on your desktop?

            Two things to try:

            1. Try double-clicking the a2s.exe from Windows file explorer.

            2. Open a command prompt in the "win" folder and try to run a2s.exe, and maybe try to convert a file - something like:

            > .\a2s "C;\users\YOU\Downloads\test.stl"

Are there any errors or dialogs?

            Hi

I'm running into the same issues as Smicha. I'm trying to import a DWG file because the SketchUp import is taking so freaking long. However I have the Ruby console pulled up and then when I select the DWG a window pops up and then disappears. The first time it created a notepad file that said "No Suitable Reader Found"

              Any ideas?

the reason I removed the pointer on the thread was I remembered it was hard to set up on a PC...

If you have a mac in the office, this extension is still working in v17...

                  Hey Driven,

I pulled this up on my laptop and ran into the same issue. I'm running SketchUp 17 and the plugin didn't do anything. Am I missing anything?

I tried it on both a Windows Desktop and a Mac laptop

                      I just re-tested on some dxf's...

                      some work others don't...

do your files open in tiegra viewer or converter?

maybe converting them back to a lower version will work...
