Model in sketch mobile viewer lags - need help reducing size
-
hi
I've been trying to view a model using sketchup viewer on my iPad Pro 2 which I want to use to show my future employer my models - however the viewer is suggesting the model is too large (no scenes have been added yet but they would need to be) and when moving/rotating model the movement is laggy and I lose my material textures and all structure on my trees (I get the component box outline) making it unusable for presentation purposes.
I've purged the model and managed to reduce it from 25mb to 16.5mb and I tried deleting off the trees but that only got rid of another 1.2mb so it doesn't like like that is the issue (plus my employer wants to see the house in contest with the trees so they have to stay.
the dance centre test model that comes preloaded with sketchup mobile viewer looks relatively complex (equal or more so then what I've done) with many scenes included but is only 2.35mb so there is obviously a way to reduce model sizes down.
Any help you could give with this would be great (I haven't attached the model as the cad files used to make it aren't mine so I don't want the share the model publicly - I will share privately to individuals who want to take a look and see if they see something I don't - hope you all understand)
Thank you all

It might be that your textures are too large. Are any of them custom materials?
Did you purge ALL unused stuff? File>Model Info>Statistics>Purge?
I'll send you my e-mail address so you can send me the file.

im pretty sure I purged all the unused (could of missed something though) - I did the model info purge and also used thom Thoms plugin to ease a little more out
texture wise I used those preloaded on sketchup and a few from https://www.sketchuptextureclub.com (I did rotate a few textures as they looked a little odd in their current position - I don't know if that of made a difference)
I don't know what the average persons model size is - I never thought that a 16mb sketchup file was considered to be large but obviously I'm very wrong (though I would of thought that the mobile viewer would of been able to handle at least 20mb models well - I hope Trimble will release a version in the future that will be able to do so.
Thank you Dave, that is terribly kind of you - did you private message me details ? - I'll check now
