Vray wrong aspect ratio - top is cut off
-
It is very frustrating because it worked last time. Now Vray renders wrong aspect ratio.
I tried V-Ray Tools2 but top is still cut off. Render image doesn't match the photograph.
It is unpredictable, just wasting time, can't finish a project. How did ChaosGroup test this aspect ratio? -
We all do our best to help, but I'm sorry to say your post is meaningless.
Could you give us some actual details of your problem. -
Thanks for checking. I figured it out. It looks like Output aspect ratio changes randomly on my computer. When I type the same values as original and then apply V-Ray Tools2, it looks about the same. Vray Tools2 is really useful. It is impossible to do camera match without this tool.

Can you tell me how exactly do you match render output with viewport using V-Ray Tools2?
Having the same problem, rendering dozens of renders, it's hit and miss so far. -
Just touching V-ray, what I've read that sketchup interface is set 1600x900(aspect ration of 2.01:1) whereas Vray default is 800x600(Aspect ratio 1.333:1).
Use closer to 2.01:1 Something like 853x480,1280x720,1920x1080
Anyway I have not gone to that point yet, just starting Vray .Ref book: photographic rendering with v-ray for sketchup by Brian Bradley page 48
