How to open Sketchup Make?

New user/member. I'm not interested in Sketchup Pro. I downloaded Sketchup Make. How do I open that? I am not able to get directly to a screen where I can begin to design my project.

Are you using SketchUp 8 as your profile indicates?
Assuming you've actually downloaded and installed the current version of SketchUp Make (2017), it starts as a 30 day trial of SketchUp Pro. It'll revert to Make at the end of the trial.
To open SketchUp, choose a template and then click on Start Using SketchUp.
