Lost my keyboard shortcuts!

A few weeks ago ALL the keyboard shortcuts for Layout stopped working. Surely its a toggle I've bumped somewhere?

Perhaps I'll modify this now that I've found the place in Preferences where they are set, now I'm rebuilding, can anyone suggest a list of useful shortcuts?

To give a general recommendation here must not be useful always I think. There often are different reasons for customiced shortcuts.
For example, for many of my colleagues who have been working with Adobe CS for years, it was useful to synchronize some shortcuts with Adobe AI.
Another reason may be your native language. In German for example, circle is called Kreis, which is the reason why I use "K" for circle
but apart from that, I left most standard commands as they are originally.
Another banal reason may be the keyboard layout - so I choose shortcuts so that they are executable with the left hand easily since my right hand is busy with the mouse mostly...Regards and Happy Easter

I would humbly suggest you export your keyboard shortcuts regularly keeping a copy of the file in the cloud such as your email, dropbox or gdrive. In the event you lose your shortcuts or you are working on a new machine, you can easily retrieve your keyboard shortcuts in a flash
