Problem with shape blend :(
-
Hello everyone, I am really arguing because other plugins - I don't know like they have created nice curvy fences or pipelines etc..
PS: I don't like if they lie me. Because my SketchUp is 2017 - But it doesn't work for me why does SketchUp show stupid error messsage like I always tried but it won't mark to line than curve Grrrrrr
How do I fix or where do I find correct plugin like other users almost use like youtube videos about excellent stairs with fences and indoor look with whole carpentry-like designs or fence with different lines into real curves.
Thanks!

Are you referring to Shape Bender?

Who is "they"? What is the "stupid error message"?
If you want help, make it possible for use to help you. Upload your SketchUp file so we can see your setup. Generally, when users have problems with Shape Bender, it is due to a failure to set the model up correctly before attempting to run it. This is also why error messages get generated.
I hunted up your offensively titled video and it is clear you have failed to set up the model correctly for Shape Bender. Watch the instructional video in the Extension Warehouse. The straight line must be parallel to the red axis. You have it parallel to the green. It's no wonder it doesn't work for you. You haven't done any of the set up correctly.

Here's evidence that Shape Bender does work in SketchUp 2017 if you set it up as per the instructions.

Thanks for explanation - I cannot find post from forum. sorry thanks I found now. that is why only red axis.... I don't know why does it doesn't work for y and z axis
-
the script was written to work as it does. This simplifies the operation and makes it possible to know which way the component/group will be oriented when it is bent.
-
Thanks for explanation - I'm sorry for that

Happy you have it sorted out.
Keep in mind that the position of the bent component relative to its curve will coincide with the position of the straight one relative to the straight line. So if you want the bent component to match the curve, place the straight line under the straight component.

Thanks my badness - I'm very sorry for that. My dear Dave!!!!!! You're great advanced user but I'm not good. I hesitate me like I'm miss understanding that. I don't know what does it have work for axis. I AM VERY SORRY! I'm shy because I maybe hesitate for that. I need keep cool and I learn more and I understand what do I work with SketchUp. Since Google SketchUp I try and I use with Source Modelling but it is very old and it is unusable now. And PlayUp for Unity, Unreal Engine, Cry Engine and other for now. Nothing Source Engine 1 and 2 so sad. That is why I forget many knowledges of SketchUp. Now I restore my knowledges back. Why do they need many unlimited extensions and plugins.
Now I understand with shape blender now. Thanks very much
// Edit where is plugin like 2 marked lines into own mark or I follow other curving lines? Like fence from start is down floor to end is up floor? PS: I found "Weld" I thought line and curve marry together than own - I found it. Thanks!
Thanks!
