SketchUp automatically applied a texture to the backfaces

Hello,
I had this problem before but it somehow disappeared.
It now appears again. SketchUp will automatically applied a texture from the model to the back faces of any geometry I create.
I used Remove All Backface Materials from Thomthom's Material Tools, but it did not work.
Any suggestion on how to fix this?

That's strange. It applies to the back but not to the front?

It does apply to the front faces, but also add the texture to the back face without haveing me to click on it.
Ok, I just found out how to fix it but don't know the cause of it. This issue happens with components. So when I explode the component, the problem is gone. SketchUp uses the normal colors for front and back faces without automatically applies a texture used in the component.

Does the material have Opacity set less than 100. If opacity is set to anything less than 100 the material gets applied to both sides of the face. This isn't a bug and it makes sense when you are applying a material that should be transparent. It does look strange when the material is a brick pattern or something else that normally isn't transparent.

Weird. Can you share the material? Or a model in which it happened?

Hi Dave,
The material has 100% opacity.
Don't know why, but the problem happens only inside the component. When the component is exploded, the faces are normal, showing the correct colors of front/back faces.

If a component has a material applied that material always overrides the default material both on back and front faces.

I like JQL's answer, but it seems too obvious. Still I had this one bugging me before and it took a while to see the problem and fix it.
