'Not Responding' when exporting to 2D .DWG

Hello
I'm having a problem exporting to .DWG 2D.
At the moment it's a really simple model just for massing and I intend to work it up but if it's not exporting now I have no chance when it's finished.
I've purged and checked for errors - after that I'm stuck as to what to do.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

How long are you giving it to do the export? There are over 2.6 million edges to parse through. It took a few minutes to export on my machine. It made a nearly 34 Mb file so I can't attach it.
Do you need the entire model or just the area shown in the view you get upon opening? Maybe you could crop the model down?

Yes I am going to need the entire model - and it's going to be vastly more detailed than this as I am working up a master plan self build system.
So I'm going to want full plans and sections as well as CU of certain bits.
How would you advise I move forward as I don't want to take this all the way and then realize I can't get any of my drawings out of it ?

Hi Gemma,
There's a lot of edges in the file so I think you just need to start the export and go do something else. Maybe get a cup of tea.
I was able to make the DWG export from your file. I uploaded it to DropBox and sent you the link by e-mail. Did you get that?
