Flight of Six
-

Doodling this morning.
I received a gift of six flight glasses and I'm thinking of making a simple tray to hold them. Got sidetracked a little putting the silk screened brewery logo on the glass. That was easy enough, though.

Nice job, and great gift. At first I thought it was "P-Town" (Petaluma, the west-coast microbrewery capital).

All that's missing is the beer!
I would be curious as to how you did apply the logo? Did you import a PNG (with transparent background) as a texture, then project it onto the glass? They look great.
Tray design is simple and very nice.

Thanks for the nice comments.
I thought about adding the beer but decided to drink it instead.

As for the logo, I figured out how long and tall the image needed to be with the transparent region and made an image to the same proportions which I applied, unprojected. The inside and bottom are just the gray glass with the Opacity set to 0.

Excellent.

The actual straight SU output is much more refreshing than an all out render.
Nice job

Thank you David and Rich.
I thought about doing a render of this but decided I like the way the glasses appear in the straight out of SketchUp drawing. It would have been nice if I could get a higher resolution image of the brewery's logo.
