Where is the SketchUp API site?
-
Everything is in the title.

Thanks TIG but this is the other site that interests me.
The one where there were tutorials for beginners and all the examples!
I did not doubt that this site is complete, but it seems less adapted to a beginner than the one that has disappeared.
Why does the API site I'm looking for disappeared?
-
The one I linked to replaced it...
-
I have not enough experience in ruby, to measure the advantages and disadvantages of this site.
Is it as complete as the site that disappeared?
At the level of the presentation of class and methods, I already regret the site API which no longer exists.
Is it a simple update of the site, or the site to disappeared forever?
-
The new site is a WIP, and [if anything] slightly better.
At least errors and examples are getting updated [slowly].
The presentation is similar, but IMHO slightly improved...The old site never had any really good 'examples' anyway...
-
Probably this page is closer what you have in mind.
-
David, basically the new site is under construction. The API documentation needs to be corrected first, and then the examples will grow.

Good news !
This reassures me because I still have a preference for the site API, which has disappeared.@jim said:

Thank you for this alternative, but the site I was looking for was more complete.

OK! I will therefore work with the information of this site, in the meantime that the other site is updated.

I restart the subject to find out if the original API site is or will soon be available?
Thank you
David

This is still the current link:

Thank you TIG but I already know this site.
I prefer by far the old site for that documentation, are organization of methods and classes, and its tutorial.
It was much easier to understand for novices in ruby scripts.
It is a pity that it no longer exists!

If you know the old address you can use the Wayback Machine to browse old internet archive sites: https://web.archive.org/

Hello Pixero,
I want to try but I do not know the address of the old site.
Does anyone know it ?
-
Maybe try reading the following book to learn by examples...
Automatic Sketchup Book -
Thank you renderiza, this book looks very interesting!
Unfortunately it can not replace the old API or all the methods and classes were perfectly presented. -

Here is the old SketchUp API site:

This is from 2016. -
It's wonderful Pixero.
Well tried Pilou, but these are the methods and ruby class for SketchUp that interests me.
I am happy to find this good old API.
