Geolocation problem SU 2016
-
When I want to import terrain using geolocation, I can't rotate the image in the window. The compass is just not there, all I can do is zoom. Any idea someone?
-
That's normal behavior. There's nothing wrong. North will always be up. You can orbit around to look at the imported image from a different direction after you get it into SketchUp.
-
I thought that was not mormal because I looked at some tutorials and there's always a compass or a way to turn the image before grabbing it. If I use your method (witch I tried before writing this post), I end up with a terrain that looks like a square turned 45 degrees and I can't seem to be able to crop it.

Where did you find these tutorials that show rotating the image in the Get Location window?
How about uploading an SKP file that shows the terrain turned as you describe. Are you sure you aren't just looking at it from 45°?
