Naming Sections

I apologize for the noob question, but how does one name the section planes. I cannot seem to assign a name anywhere and they do not seem to appear in the outliner. It gets a bit difficult to identify the correct section in large projects.

Section planes cannot be named although that feature has been requested. Only components and groups appear in OutLiner.

I've been putting them on individual layers. Works well, especially with Tig's Section Cut Face Plugin.
