Frank Lloyd Wright had a thing about the hexagon. Much of the furniture and any of the houses he designed in the 1940s and '50s was based on the six-sided figure. He created this coffee table and pair of nesting stools for the Henredon furniture company in the mid-1950s. The originals, made of mahogany, have the distinctive carved Taliesen frieze on the edges. -
