Great work, detailed modelling, mood lighting and Twilight bakes it ... The model could be a little bit longer in the oven. But for the delivery it will certainly rendered rather delicate...

I know that. To render a SketchyPhysics simulation of an urban model in Twilight with Preview Object Animation can easily take 2 weeks ...

this time I am trying the new youtube pano mode. But I am not happy with the quality.

Moviemaker is not able to produce a video more than 1920/1080

Try VirtualDub 1.10.4 and X264vfw for compression - I am very satisfied with it. The processing of single-frame animation is very pleasant too.

Move the single frame to an empty folder. Open the frame in VirtualDub. Menu - Edit - Copy - Paste - as much as you need. Menu - Video - Frame Rate - Change to 1 fps. Menu - File - Export as AVI ...

@jo-ke to me, this is an inspiring video.

You made me go off an figure out some things in TWR that I did not understand. In particular how 360 background images really work. I guess I did not pick up on the fact that if you orbit the model the background scene really kept up with the model and thus if you rendered it the background synced with the camera position.

Did you do this animation with TWR?

I need to find some better spherical images that I can use with my car washes. I like the NYC image you used for your apartment video. It would not work well for me but it is giving me valuable view into what I need to get done. Now I need to find a good source of images or figure out how in the heck to create some. If you, or anyone else, can give me some insight into how to create some or where to find a good source of images (yes I looked at your source but they seem to be very European in origin - not complaining, just need some relevant to viewers in this area).

Again, thanks for sharing your video and giving me some insight into how things work and what can be accomplished. 💚

                                        Hi NTXDave
I agree - it is a truly inspirational project and video.
I have in the past used Google Earth to save the 4 compass directions of a particular spot in my city. Alot of the buildings have been added in 3D so you just position your FOV as if you were standing at ground level, take a screen shot or if its possible to save to an image format (Sorry it's been a while since I did this) of a 360 rotation (could be 4 or more shots).
In Sketchup, create arc-ed solids and apply each image to the curved interior of the arc. Bring all the mapped arcs together to form a (more or less) complete circle. Make it large enough that the top/bottom edges are out of view for stills or animations.
I'm sure there is a more elegant way to go about this.
