      Hello to everybody

On Win 7 64 Pro I installed Sketchup 15 without any problems.

I reinstalled the 3DConnexion wireless mouse that I upgraded to 64-bit, and I have no problems.
I installed SU Viewer 32 bit but the mouse is not recognized, I tried to install Viewer 64 bit version but still it does not work.

Also when I enter Viewer program in the list of the predefined programs to open it automatically I receive a system error that says :

common_application.dll is not present on the PC.

but I see it in the same directory where viewer.exe is installed .

I would like to know if it possible to solve the connection of Viewer with the predefined programs and if it is possible to use Viewer with 3Dconnexion mouse.

      thank you very much

Kinda lost, why install viewer which is just a crippled version of SU when you already have SU installed.
Other than that, I cam tell you my 3dconexion works happily with SU8 to SU16 and viewer on win 7,8 and 10, but different PC's

I would use Viewer because I can watch files quickly without allowing changes.

Now even on my pc 3Dconnexion works fine with all versions of SU from 8 to 15 but
the problem is with Viewer (3D mouse only acts as a zoom)
I do not think it is a limitation of the PC.

Win 7 Pro 64 (for the moment I do not like later versions)

The installations are in the default directory suggested by the installer.
Maybe there are remaining settings that conflict but I do not know how to solve

Sounds like you may have a problem with the 3Dxware (3D Connexion Software)
Since you originally installed 32 bit version of the viewer it could be that 3DConnexion 64 bit failed to recognize it.
Just a guess though............maybe you could ask on the 3DX forums?
Or try uninstalling and reinstalling the 64bit version of 3DxWare?

              3dConnexion uses a SU plugin...

the SU Viewer doesn't have Ruby, so no plugins will work...
