Accidently changing default colour
-
I need some advice on why I occasionally have accidently changed the default colour and how to rectify this. I think what I have done is when I have the paint bucket still open from painting a surface I have clicked on an unopened group with this colour and have not noticed it as it only affected the back faces and too late to use "Go Back"to rectify. Another time this has happened was when I dragged the materials/colour box down to the bottom of the screen a + sign appeared breifly then I notice the back faces has been coloured with a different colour.Any help appreciated.

Could you share an example SKP file that shows this problem?
Are you just painting faces (or group/component wrappers) accidentally? To change the default color you need to be editing the style. This isn't done with the paint bucket tool.
If you are applying a color you don't want in the model, you can remove it from the In Model library.

Hi Dave R
I have attached one of the affected models but stripped out all the interior furniture etc as this project hasn't reached the pubic domain yet. I found the offending colour (material23) and for the life of me I don't know where this came from, I removed it from the in model colours on the original and the default colours reverted back to normal, I have left the default faces as they were in the attached copy. I tried dragging a colour from the in model colours onto the back face default colour in an unopened group and this changed them to that colour - so I think this is what I had done accidently before. Regards & Thanks for your comments.
