Can someone explain how I transfer all my old materials into my new SUp program on a new computer?

I went to my old machine, SketchUp 5> Library, copied all the jpg and skm, then put them all in the new SketchUp 5> Library folder, restarted SUp but I don't see them.

sorry folks, it's been so long since I've had to do anything to SUp. Is there a help section, whatever, or SUp user file where I could find my answer??

Joe, did you copy the folders the textures are in? In SketchUp you should be able to go to the Materials window, click on the Details menu icon and choose Open or Create... Navigate to the folder with the materials and open it. To make sure it shows in future sessions of SketchUp, use Add to Favorites from the same menu.

Are you finally upgrading to SU2016?

No haven't upgraded yet Dave, not using SUp that much recently.

yes, I saved two folders, one has all my jpg textures plus the skm files, the other has just the skm. Should I just import the jpg??

should I go in to the texture folder of this new SUp and delete all those before I import all the new ones? Some of them are the same.

I wouldn't delete the existing one in the new SU install. Put the folders with the SKM files somewhere you can get to easily (My Documents for example. Then, in the Materials window, you can open the "local collection" and add it to your favorites.
