      Hi everybody,
Not that new in the community but this is is my first post.
I'm a "SketchupTo3dsMax" user and I've got a problem with the new Sketchup 2016, as Trimble decided not to release the SDK (need to be a developer). I used to use a simple method consisting of replacing the "SketchUpReader.dll" (provided in the SDK) into 3dsMax root folder to be able to import the Sketchup model directly without having to save as a previous version - making it more convenient and easy to work with a project with many updates ...
It's a small issue but if you guys could help me (i guess is forbidden to share the .dll …)
      Thank you.

The SDK has changed quite a bit. That dll is now called "SketchUpAPI.dll", so I suspect it won't work.
"SketchUpReader.dll" is now in a "deprecated" folder.

It was already in "deprecated" folder for the 2014 and 2015 releases and used to work very well! πŸ˜„ Can you have a try πŸ˜„
          Regards.

Indeed it does work (with the x86 version, oddly).
I'm not sure I can share it with you. Maybe you can request it from Trimble, or register as a developer? It's quite easy and fast.
