    Hi,

As in the picture below, I have a white box with a reflective plan on the ground, and a just a ray of light coming in.

    NO caustics.

I would like to have a kind of caustics from that ray, something that seems very simple : just a single reflexion on the reflective plan. So it would reflect also on the wall, up to the ceiling.

Is it posible to do so in vray for sketchup ? I put on all the caustics settings i could fine but nothing works.

Thank you very much for your help

I might be wrong, but I believe you cannot use a linear surface for caustics. Caustics are a concentration of light due to a curved (lens) effect.
