Plugin toolbar icon scaling issue in 2016
-
I use a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro laptop now and then for Sketchup when I am traveling. The screen resolution defaults to 3200 X 1800, and with Windows 10, the recommended display scaling is 250%. At these settings, with Sketchup 2015, ALL icons scale equally, both native toolbar icons and plugin toolbar icons...they are small, but legible.
With Sketchup 2016, at the same resolution and display scaling, the native toolbar icons scale up nicely to a more reasonable size, however, the plugin toolbar icons are impossibly small. I've tried every combination of display resolution and display scaling I can think of and nothing gives me a congruent relationship between the native toolbar icons and the plugin toolbar icons.
I can report that there are two plugin toolbar icons I have that scale similarly to the native ones in 2016, and those are: Compo Spray, and BG_Sketchup Comments...I'm not sure what is in the coding of these plugins that causes the icons to scale correctly, but they do.
Any ideas on how to scale up the plugin toolbar icons?
While 2016 native toobar icon scaling is much better than 2015, the plugin toolbar icon scaling is definitely not. -
It's because of the new vector graphic system which is integrated with SU's Icon drawer ...
authors should apply a change at how SU renders their toolbar Icons . -
Hi .... It seems an update is required for this plugin :
It DO NOT uses user axis, so everything is aligned with word CS .
It's necessary to fix this issue. please do it ..
