    Hi, I was just curious to know if I can use a 5-button mouse for sketchup. Can I assign the side buttons for suppose push/pull, line, etc.

      I don't see why not. Assuming you can assign those buttons to emulate keyboard strokes such as P for Push/Pull. You'd really need to look at the driver software for the mouse.

        I use a Logitech MX Master. I have commands assigned to the forward and back buttons (on the side), a command for the bottom thumb button, and four commands assigned to gestures. I can draw line, erase, select, draw rectangle, rotate, move, and push/pull without touching the keyboard or toolbars.
