KT fast start returns
-
A good news for those who are still interested in KT and believe on this free powerful software and also for those very beginners who are willing to know KT in less time and effort: I've brought my KT fast start to life again.
Almost every thing is re-written from scratch ,an enhanced graphic a ready to use material template and a nice collection of handy materials are included also that makes it easy to understand, expriment and progress. We are finishing the final steps and hope to publish it soon.
This is the cover of the e-book , Sponza model rendered in KT:and here are some material library samples:

Thanks very much it will go in the purchase list for when it comes out. A single step from Majiid, a giant leap for sketchup users.
-
Thanks Mike .... make me feel shy.
-
I've had good fun with KT, thanks to your help previously. Haven't touched it lately but this is good news. Might do a refresher on it sometime! Thanks Majid!

KT is a real sleeping dragon , I mean it has lots of potentials despite the fact that is almost old. I still love the speed and quality, clear material editor etc...
-
Another render for the e-book , and some post pro.(contrast adjustment mainly)
-
I didn't know that.
I'm preparing my renderings with twilightrender and export the xml to my good old 64bit krekythea to do the render in background.
will the new version be compatible to twilight?
-
I think he's just talking about the redo of the book, not KT.
What is the difference of running Twilight in the background or KT?
-
I can work on different files in SU while KT is rendering independant in background
-
I guess I can do that with Twilight because it's on a Mac. But I have no idea of relative efficiency of the methods.

........Yeap, I've re-written everything from scratch and with whole new graphic. Also James Hannigan has reviewed it all. I think the buyers will enjoy it a lot.

another KT render with some post pro , mainly color adjustment using different images that one may obtain from KT including mask render and depth render
-
Very poetic image!
-
NICE.......
-
Thank you both Mike and Pilou
-
Please hurry with the book as I will be out of work again soon and would like to be able to buy it while my budget lasts.
-
We are hopefully planning to release the bundle by January in a low-reasonable price .
-
In time for 2015 tax right offs? (before the 31st?)
-
Happy Holidays all
This is an old model I've done based on an image I saw on the web and rendered it recently using the great KT.
-
Good idea on the KT book majid. I use KT on most of my book images because it gives a nice soft light to images.
I also love that I can take it anywhere on my flash drive. (and its free!)
