TUTORIAL: Quick working tables in LayOut
-
I've seen lots of posts asking how to put editable tables in layout. Here is a VERY quick and effective workaround.
- Drop a text box for your left most column,
- Add your left column text and set line spacings,
- Copy this (CTRL + MOVE) to the right, and again as required,
- Edit text as required in these new columns.
As said it's a simple work around and saves one creating externally and importing.

Good idea. With at least the current version of LO*, you can make an array with Move/Copy just like you'd do in SketchUp. Move a copy over and hit *n or xn where n is the number of additional rows or columns.
*I don't remember which version of LO was the first to have this option. 2014 or 2015.

Dave, I'm still using a rather old version so haven't tried that option.
